Our virtual psychology services are available to eligible clients who are physically located in Alberta during their appointments. Each psychologist’s profile will identify the ages and client populations they serve.
A referral is generally not required to book an appointment.
Psychologists are required to protect client confidentiality in accordance with professional and legal requirements. There are limited circumstances where information may need to be disclosed, including concerns involving immediate safety, child protection, or a legal requirement. Your psychologist will explain these limits during the consent process.
A standard individual appointment is approximately 50 minutes.
The number of sessions varies depending on your concerns, goals, preferences, progress, and available resources. You and your psychologist will review your counselling plan together.
Virtual counselling can be a useful and convenient option for many concerns. Its suitability depends on your circumstances, clinical needs, privacy, technology access, and personal preferences.
